What never changes: nothing is ever locked. Every deck stays reachable — the full grid sits right below the path and search finds every card — the reference shelf is always open, and anyone with study history sees today’s home untouched.
The pairing: the test-out Idea on the Shelf is the path’s fast-forward — a returning learner tests past stages instead of walking them.
